Sylvie Frank, in her first deal since joining Disney Hyperion, has bough world rights to Amazing Augustus by Tammi Sauer(I.), a picture book about a confident and unflappable squirrel who is so busy boasting he finds himself eaten, and an untitled sequel; Nichole Wong Forti will illustrate. Publication is set for fall 2023 and fall 2025; Laura Rennert represents the author and Jennifer March Soloway represented the illustrator, bot at Andrea Brown Literary Agency.
CHELSEA CLINTON READS DJ’S BUSY DAY
Chelsea Clinton helps to boost attention for literacy programs in Chicago. She reads “DJ’s Busy Day” as a tool to improve early learning among young kid. Through the Clinton Foundation’s program Too Small to Fail, “DJ’s Busy Day” was created as a way to make reading, singing and talking a fun way to help kids start their learning development.
